With the Double Bucks program, you will receive an extra dollar for every dollar you spend using your EBT card at participating markets. In other words, you can get twice the amount of food for you and your family!

Choose a local farmers’ market to visit.
- Visit any of the 8 markets across the triangle area listed on the home page.

Go to the market information table.
- Before you shop, make sure you find the information table or a market staff person and ask them about Double Bucks.

Decide how much you would like to spend on your EBT card or in cash.
- Let the market staff know how much you want to spend. Your EBT card will be swiped, or they will collect your cash to be matched.

You get DOUBLE!
- You will receive a $1 token for every dollar you spend. They can be used like cash to buy any SNAP-eligible foods, like: fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy, breads. Tokens DO NOT expire and must be used at the market where you received them.
If you participate in ANY of these programs you can receive Double Bucks:
– SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)
– WIC (Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children)
– Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP)
– WIC Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (WFMNP)
– Public housing/ Durham Housing Authority (DHA)/ Section 8 vouchers
